Okay, I think I've found my favorite line of the OVA.
Sebastian (whispering in Ciel's ear): "Even as someone who owns a demon, you are not able to improvise?"
...That's been tickling me for hours. Don't ask me why. I guess because Sebastian's usually so loathe to allude to his demonic nature, I found it amusing that he would go ahead and do so just to criticize Ciel's acting abilities. Or lack thereof. Pfft. XD
WATCH ME OVERUSE ITALICS IN THIS ENTRY, WHEE~

ANOTHER EDIT: OH GOD, PEOPLE ARE WRITING BACK. THIS IS GONNA BE PRICELESS.

What the hell is going on with Bandai? Their titles are going out of print like nobody's business!
I mean, older stuff like Witch Hunter Robin kinda makes sense...
But what about Scrapped Princess? It only came out in 2007! Two years isn't that long.
Everyone kept pimping that series to me, so I suppose I'll jump on it soon.
There was another show I was curious about...
Oh, Pumpkin Scissors! Was that any good? It looked kinda different, which I usually like.

TYPE-MOON announces spiffy new Fate/stay night anime re-release.
...Which doesn't mean anything to us in America, of course. But this article was more exciting because it reminded me of the upcoming Unlimited Blade Works movie than anything else. Can I get a booyah? \o/
AND OH YEAH NEW TAINAKA SONGS~

And since I know we're supposed to feel sorry for little Princess What's-Her-Name, does it make me a terrible person for thinking the little brat is getting what she deserves now for having thrown her weight around and trying to take everything she wanted by force? Honestly.

You may recall that I'd plot-bunnied
tsutsuji to write me a Xellos/Lina fic recently...
So she did.
AND SWEET MOTHER OF CHAOS, TALK ABOUT SURPASSING EXPECTATIONS.
Not only did she write my OTP, she wrote them so that it actually worked. Ya know what I'm sayin'?
Go read it, all of you! <3

Just saying Coming 2010 tells us nothing!
BE MORE SPECIFIC, RIGHTSTUF.
Also, as pretty as that textless opening is... Can we please have a real trailer sometime? ¬_¬
Probably not, they did the same thing when promoting Emma.

Watching Outlaw Star has made me all nostalgic for the good old days when I would come home after school and - like all lazy American children of the '90s - plop down in front of the TV to watch them crazy Japanese cartoons. Damn, we had it so good back then! Before the anime bubble burst. :(
Now the only anime you see on TV is your basic shonen fare. But back then, we had such variety! I went back and searched for those awesome Toonami promos they used to air and I'm amazed at some of the stuff we were able to watch! Shows that would be an almost impossible sell to TV stations nowadays...
This one, entitled "Dreams," is arguably their most famous video, focusing on the unlimited potential of youth and incorporating clips from almost every anime they ever had. (It also has a plethora of awesome Outlaw Star quotes!)
( More under the cut! )
My childhood... ;A;

I'm so in love with Outlaw Star.
Like, you have no idea. *A*
Everyone's so ADORABLE~
It's probably a good thing I never watched it on Toonami, though.
My elementary school self probably wouldn't have been able to appreciate it. XD

Sorry if I've seemed a bit harsh recently...
I don't get depressed very often (almost never), so on the rare occasions when a wave of depression does hit me, I'm like: "WTF IS THIS FEELING AND HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO EXPRESS IT~"
Then I'm a grumpy bitch until I sort things out. XD
My apologies, friends! I'll be back to normal in no time flat! *salutes*
